What an awesome truth that God has stooped down and reached out to us first. He is the initiator of great love from His heart to ours. His desire is for us to follow His example, as beloved children, in reaching out to those who are oppressed. This motivates us at Catalyst Ministries as we continue to actively reach out to and restore survivors of human trafficking. What a joy to work alongside God and others in this important work!
One of the many ways we help restore women who have been traumatized from the realities of human trafficking, and specifically sex trafficking, is through providing the opportunity for continued education. Our theme this month at Catalyst Ministries is EDUCATION.
Education is an essential component that enables the women involved in our Restorative Program to prepare for their Catalyst Farms graduation. For women who desire to complete a GED program, attend a Community College, a 4 year college or receive other specialized training, we help support them in reaching these goals. This can open doors for them for greater opportunities in the area of job readiness, confidence and self-worth. It also can make a difference in providing sustainable employment and a successful life of independence after they’ve completed their Catalyst Farms program. When donors give towards the work of Catalyst Ministries, education for the survivors we work with is just one of the wonderful ways this investment is being used to change lives. This month, we’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the Be A Catalyst Dinner fundraiser!
