"The story of one who is finding her voice."
In the past year, we've had many wonderful opportunities to get to know and invest in the lives of various survivors. What an honor! We praise God for your partnership with us in this important and life-changing work!
One survivor and former resident of one of our Restorative Homes shared what it meant for her to be voiceless while she was being exploited by a captor. She shared how speaking up for herself in any way meant she would receive harsh and abusive treatment. She learned quickly that using her voice to advocate for herself didn't go well for her. She also shared how God showed His faithfulness to her during and since her trauma. We praise God that she is free on many levels now and that she is no longer voiceless. She's using her voice to give God glory and encourage others that there is a way out for them.
Our theme this month at Catalyst Ministries is Gratitude. We are thankful for God's faithfulness and kindness to us at Catalyst this year and for His miraculous work in the lives of the precious women we work with at both of our locations. He has shown His provision through the generosity of others, donors, and the work of our teams!
I also want to share with you new staff members we have added to the Catalyst Team: Martina Fundaro is our new Communications Director serving both locations and Subrena Hurd is the new Program Coordinator in Texas.
Please join us in welcoming these amazing new team members! They each bring strong skills, experience, and incredible hearts to this work. We are so thankful for God bringing them to this team!
We are also grateful for YOU because, as you pray, give, and strive with us in this important work, the lives of survivors ARE being transformed. What an honor it is to serve with you in this important mission!
