Our theme at Catalyst Ministries this month is Walking by Faith. The Bible says that we are called to walk by faith in our lives and work. (Galatians 3:10-12)
As Spring is showing its beauty in the trees, flowers, and green grass, we’re excited about the new projects and plans for Catalyst Ministries that this new season brings! April is National Volunteer Month, and we have plenty of opportunities for people to get involved as volunteers. Please see the bottom of this letter for more information on this.*
God’s creation is amazing! I watched a hydrangea plant lose leaves and look completely dead through the winter. As spring weather has returned, it has become a beautiful plant full of fresh, green leaves- and very soon- beautiful flowers. The same is true of our climbing rose bush that is bursting with new blooms each day! Spring is a reminder of new life and most profoundly in the death and resurrection of Jesus, which we celebrate at Easter in just a few weeks!
Yes, we walk by faith! We don’t always see the new life that is coming, but we believe that our Creator God is doing a new and beautiful thing! We see this reality within Catalyst Ministries as well. As we see the growth- from death to life- occurring around us and in the lives of the precious women we serve. God is good, and his love is new every morning! His work in creation, our lives- and those we diligently serve is amazingly complex. As Psalm 139:14 says, “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!”
We thank you for being on this walk of faith with us at Catalyst! Your prayers, your giving, and your volunteering have made such a difference! We still need you in all these ways and look forward to continuing to partner with you in seeing wonderful results and lasting change!
