July-August 2026 Update
Our theme this month at Catalyst Ministries is FREEDOM! As we celebrate this month our nation’s 250th birthday, we celebrate the great freedom we have in Jesus Christ. As Galatians 5:1 states:
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. “
It is God’s will and plan that everyone be free and that we don’t take on a burden that strips us of this freedom. We desire that the women we impact through Catalyst would know this truth and walk in it. We strive to share with them through actions and words that they have great worth and are created for freedom and purpose by a God who loves them-and all of us.
We’re so thankful for the new financial partners who have joined our team:

And also for a new Community Foundations of Texas Grant for $10,000 as a proactive initiative during and after the 2026 FIFA World Cup events across North Texas.

Major international sporting events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup can potentially increase risk factors associated with human trafficking and exploitation, including large visitor populations, crowds, and temporary labor demands, prompting communities to work proactively to strengthen prevention and response systems ahead of events.
CFT’s responsive grants prioritize nonprofits working on the frontlines to deliver crisis response, shelter, and survivor stabilization, supplemented by nonprofit partners addressing prevention, legal services, and system coordination. These investments support a coordinated continuum of care across North Texas for individuals at risk of or impacted by human trafficking, ensuring both immediate response capacity during the event and sustained recovery support in the months that follow.
As we look ahead to the coming school year, we’re so proud of past residents and graduates who have completed GED’s, Associates Degrees and Bachelor's Degrees, during and after their time with Catalyst Ministries! These are courageous steps for them that can lead to even more opportunities and a stronger future. Great job!!
We invite and ask you to pray for us over the coming months as we step forward in new, impactful ways to continue to say YES to God and his leadership. He is always so worthy of our obedience and he does reward those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6). We see him opening new doors to help and encourage others- in this fight against human trafficking- and to see a multiplication of our efforts. All praise belongs to him!
