This month at Catalyst Ministries we celebrate the wonderful theme of New Life! As the whole earth seems to come back to life after the season of winter, we’re reminded of Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead. “He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.” (Luke 24:6-7)
What an honor we have at Catalyst to witness new life in the dear women we work with! As they begin to trust us and trust God over time, a type of new birth takes place in them and we can see hope taking the place of dread and doubt. Courage begins slowly to replace the fear that was so pervasive before. And like the miracle of a new tulip gradually pushing its way up through the soil to eventually reveal a beautiful blossom, we regularly get to celebrate the beauty in a new life being revealed at Catalyst Farms!
Recently we also experienced the excitement of new life at Catalyst Ministries, as we saw God provide for us to open our second location. In answer to our prayers, Catalyst Ministries - Texas has been established, and while still new, we look forward to what God will do in this region of the country also. His faithfulness has astounded us in Illinois and we have truly witnessed miracles. We know God’s plans for us will continue to be a source of joy and wonder as we follow Him in obedience in Illinois, Texas and beyond. A special thanks to each of our Volunteers, Community and Church partners, and faithful Donors! Together we have seen God change lives and bring new life in the most beautiful ways.
