Catalyst Ministries got its start in Bloomington, IL. Founder, Julie Ryan recognized that a need existed to combine local and global ministries. After much prayer and seeking God’s direction, in December of 2014 Catalyst Ministries was born.

Catalyst Farms opened its doors to women survivors of human trafficking in 2016. Catalyst Farms is a 24-month holistic program designed to support all the needs a woman has while simultaneously, offering a new path of growth, accountability and restoration surrounded by people she can trust. Since then, through many prayers, gifts of time and treasure from donors and volunteers, many women who survived things no one should have to go through have taken the opportunity for a new start.
