Because of His Love!
"Do everything with love." —1 Corinthians 16:14
As we kick off a new month, we’re excited at Catalyst Ministries, to celebrate our new theme of LOVE!
It seems that every day love is being demonstrated in our midst as we do this important work together and see God at work. Love is a fruit of His spirit, so as we depend on and abide in Him, we see this beautiful fruit showing up in our hearts.
Our staff at Catalyst show love to each other and the women at Catalyst Farms in countless ways. We speak words of love and encouragement to each other; we pray for each other; and sometimes we refrain from speaking when listening is really the best way to express love in a given situation.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
—John 15:13.
We are honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to lay down our lives for our friends at Catalyst Farms. Jesus set and sets the perfect example for us all in this. So, as we feel our love tanks getting low, we know where we need to go to be refilled. It’s the Lord who is so perfect to restore and strengthen us as we spend time with Him and soak our hearts in His love. Then we have something real to give in our service together, something that truly glorifies God and is eternal. Love.
Recently we witnessed a beautiful miracle as we observed one of the precious women we work with, displaying some of the healing and restoration she has received in her time at Catalyst Farms. She reached out to her housemate to bring her food when she wasn’t feeling well. She expressed concern for our Resident Assistant who had recently had surgery and would be walking on a potentially icy driveway. She was a CATALYST in caring for those around her. She showed love for her friends. We celebrate these baby steps and huge steps! Love is a powerful force that works in and through us, through the loving power of Jesus Christ!
